Texas Creative Arts Academy
presents the teen drama, The Secret Life of Girls, in four
performances November 11 – 13, 2011. Directed by TCAA’s artistic director, BJ
Cleveland, The Secret Life of Girls
tackles one of the most prevalent teen issues – bullying.
The Secret Life of Girls, written by Linda Daughtery, is an honest
and unflinching dramatization of teen-girl angst, a must see for all middle and
high school teens. “It’s really a raw look into teen friendships, and the
consequences of cyber-bullying,” said Mr. Cleveland. “This play should really
ignite some conversations in families. In fact, we’re having “talk-back” sessions
immediately following each performance with hopes of facilitating this
dialogue.”
Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 11 at 7pm; Saturday,
November 12 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, November 13 at 2pm. Tickets are
reserved seating and can be purchased online at
